VESSEL

At 282 feet below sea level, Badwater Playa, a plane of salt in Death Valley, is the lowest place on the North American Continent. Telescope Peak in the Panamint mountain range, at 11,034 feet above sea level, is the highest place that drains directly into Badwater.

Late one afternoon, I ate snow on the summit of Telescope Peak. I urinated on Badwater Playa the next morning. With this action, I investigated the relationship between my body and the land. I also caused this precipitation to reach its eventual destination through an alternative process.
